Steve McBride focuses on mediating divorce cases, providing financial support and analysis to couples going through collaborative divorce or mediation, or in supporting individuals on the financial aspects of pro se and litigated divorce cases. In addition to working with clients directly as a financial analyst and mediator, he supports attorneys and other mediators in helping clients reach equitable financial solutions.

Steve is passionate about helping his clients understand the financial implications of their divorce and to prepare financially for their future.  He combines logic, skill, compassion, calm -  with a bit of humor - to help his clients work through the difficult issues of their divorce.  He understands the stress and grief that accompany divorce, and also that many people need considerable support when going through the divorce process.

Steve holds a BS from Nebraska Wesleyan University and an MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh.  His previous career was in management consulting, working with businesses, public sector organizations and not-for-profits to help them improve performance through better leadership, people development and planning.

Steve is a Board Director of the Colorado Collaborative Law Professionals, a member of two collaborative law practice groups (Denver and Boulder), a Professional Mediator recognized by the  Colorado Council of Mediators, a Patron of the Colorado Bar, a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, a practitioner member of the Association of Conflict Resolution, and a Board Member of Colorado Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

He is a father, husband, grandfather, musician, artist and former rugby player and coach.
